Iron Maiden

One of the most influential NWOBHM bands to emerge from the early '80s explosion. Along with Judas Priest, they are one of the most powerful twin guitar attack bands in metal. There have been four different vocalist "changes": in '80 (Paul Dianno), '83 (Bruce Dickinson), '95 (Blaze Bayley), and then Dickinson again in 1999. Excellent lyrical choices and thumping bass lines from founder Steve Harris gave the band their trademark "gallop" sound in the mid '80s.
