The Eagles' Long Road Out of Eden Tour is one of the biggest tours of the year. The tour bears the name of the band's 2007 album, its first collection of new songs in 28 years. Los Angeles born, the American rock band, the Eagles, has five number one singles and six number one albums. The group is noted as one of the most successful recording artists during the 1970’s. Eagles: Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975 and Hotel California have been noted by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) as two of the top ten best selling albums by the end of the 20th century. Hotel California was ranked at 75 on 2004 list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time by Rolling Stone.
