Version 7.5 of Synapse Audio's virtual studio software Orion has been released today. This major update introduces a new audio engine with improved stability and support for multicore processors, as well as many workflow enhancements, a new VST 2.4 implementation for optimal 3rd party plugin support and better compatibility with Windows Vista. Extended Arpeggiator

Orion's new arpeggiator adds exciting features. The new distance parameter allows to create note jumps different than the default of one octave. The number of repetitions can be controlled now, and sequences may be retriggered after a certain note count.


Auto-Tracking EQs

The new innovative Auto-Tracking EQs make it easier than ever before to create high-quality mixes. The auto-tracking EQ will automatically lock to typical problem frequencies of monophonic pitched sounds such as bass or lead sounds. Gain and Q of problem frequencies can then be adjusted. Using traditional equalizers, it is necessary to use separate EQs for each note that is being played- a painstaken process taking up many hours of work that is now replaced by a single mouseclick. Together with the highly acclaimed virtual analog mixer equalizers, Orion now offers the most comprehensive equalizing on the market.
