Digital Storefront Media PlayersXYZMP3.com has just launched as of SXSW and offers Digital Storefront Media Players (DSMP) to musicians, labels and distributors. Our web-based software allows musicians to set pricing for full album downloads, sell individual tracks, create an online retail store, embed a media player for the selling and sampling of tracks, receive payment on sales, provide sales reports and sell music in mp3 format. The musicians simply register at XYZMP3.com, upload their music, and then receive code, which they can copy-and-paste into any web page they can edit. XYZMP3.com’s media player then integrates with the musician’s website creating a personal online store where fans can read about, listen to and purchase music.
