 Shad - Photographs (Saint Catharines, Canada) - SCENE FEST 2008
Let the rain pour down on St. Catherines! With the main outdoor stage soaked, Shad did a hop over to Big Bucks, I wasn't able to shoot for long as the festival was in full swing and I had to get movin' to other venues but I snapped a couple of this talented performer.

They say a picture says a thousand words, I think that is a good way to put it. These guys were a popular band in the 90s scene and came back with the original lineup to play a few select shows. Glad I was able to catch them.

A talented young up & comer. Mandippal played a cool little venue, which reflected his easy going set. I like this guy's chances of making a name for himself.

It was a long day, even longer since the Magneta Lane ladies set was pushed back at the end of the night. They took to the stage and graced the late night S.C.E.N.E crowd with their fun loving, foot tapping songs.

Hardcore favourite Ligeia brought it to the crowd. The kids showed their love back, by screaming along with the lead singer, stage diving and slam dancing.

It was a day of many first times for me today, KTO being one of them. They were a screamin', drum throwin' good time! After their set I was looking forward to seeing them again the next day in Hamilton!

I was only able to check out a couple of songs this time around of local favourites, Journey to Aspen. By the time I got to where they were playing the crowd was in full swing and enjoying the set.
