Joel and Benji Madden are twins that are five minutes apart. Benji is the oldest. They have an older brother named Josh and they also have a younger sister named Sarah. Josh and Sarah are also in a band. I thik their band is called Her Daily Obsetion. Their dad left them on Christmas Eve, when Joel and Benji were only 16 years old. When the twins were born they tool their father\\\'s last name, and when they formed Good Charlotte in 1999 they changed it to their mom\\\'s maiden name Madden. Now on every cd that they already have out, they mention at least on one song they tell about their dad walking out on them. The twins were born on March 11,1979. In Waldorf, Maryland.
