3rd Degree - Very Short Album
|
 I love it when a band proves me right. I honestly felt that 3rd Degree would only improve as time went on, and the have. With a “Very Short Album,” which it is literally with six tracks, the kids are all right once again. They “Start Over” without “Medication” and make it all look “So Easy” on their rocking new EP.
This CD/EP rocks steady with sharp guitar licks, high powered and perfected vocals with lots of feeling and gobs of emotion to push it all along.
Since “Radio 7,” their full-length album released in 2002, they have matured considerably. The entire band sounds more seasoned now. A band cannot get any cleaner and tighter with their sound than these guys. They were a diamond in the rough, now they are sparkling like a polished gem.
If this is a precursor to what is to come, we have reason to be excited with anticipation. Their young, they rock, and they have nothing but blue skies and rainbows ahead. My question is when is somebody going to get off their ass and sign these kids?
