 Inxs - X (1990, 1992 & 2002)

Inxs - X (1990, 1992 & 2002) “X” was another huge success for Inxs. After “Kick” took the world by storm it would seem that it would have been easy for the group to rest on their laurels forever and soak up the success and money. They forged ahead however and continued to churn out accessible rock top-forty oriented music to a fan base always hungry for more.
They did not disappoint with this album.

The now classic sounds of “Suicide Blonde” and “Bitter Tears” permeated the airwaves on any given day from shore to shore, and it is not unusual to still hear these songs playing today as the have held up very well over the years. As usual, the remastered sound is as abundant as it could be and sonically it is terrific. It cannot imagine it sounding any clearer or crisper than it does now, but just wait, they will find a way and the albums will be reissued again some day.

A generous offering of bonus tracks, five, help to make this a more attractive package to the collector in all of us. The best part about it is that four out of the five songs are good. That is the bonus about the bonus. This CD is another winner in the series of remasters covering the musical phenomena from down under.
