Stevie Wonder - The Definitive Collection

Stevie Wonder - The Definitive Collection From a 13-year-old kid with a hit single to 21 Grammy Awards and an enrollment in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Stevie Wonder became a living legend long ago. He spreads his love with a contagious smile and unforgettable tunes. Universal acceptance of his music is the norm for the talented Wonder. If any kind of barrier was ever in the way of his message it would fall and become completely shattered with the pureness of heart and soul originating from the spirit of Motown deeply embedded in his heart and soul. Pumping out hits in the last four decades with regularity, he creates a combination of soul, rhythm & blues, pop, and just enough elements of rock to build a huge crossover audience. My favorites were always “Superstition,” “Higher Ground,” and the clear and to the point “Living for the City.”

Do you think 21 tracks are enough? Well, not really but I must say that for one CD this collection manages to select all of the biggest hits with a few lesser-known tracks to break up the monotony of the expected. I must agree that it is definitive.
