 Diana Karthas and Rhonda Boule join their creative powers to offer up a polished mixture of rock and pop music. Diana invites you to “Step Into The Light” with insightful lyrics that have an impact upon your sensibilities. Her voice is beautiful and very engaging.
On the track “Firelight,” which is the best song the entire CD, she turned my head a few times. I noticed that she sounded like Madonna, which can be a good thing when you are trying to reach a larger audience.
Karthas utilizes her talents intelligently, and the excellent musicians backing her on this recording embrace her efforts. I am continually impressed with independent artist like her. The quality of the production, sound, and artwork are top shelf. The need for a big label to produce a quality accessible album is no longer necessary; this CD is solid proof of that.
If you enjoy Top-40 oriented music with slick guitar riffs weaving in and out of each song you will love this CD. It is her voice that really knocked me out, she has incredible range and command that turns into instant beauty with the music. You will find the light with a little help from Ms. Karthas.
